Scholarships

AT AWI, We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to get to participate in outdoor education.

We are working on getting generous donations from sponsors to be able to provide these amazing opportunities and invite any donations and sponsorships from our community at large.

Since launching our scholarship program in 2020, we have funded over $5000 in scholarships towards our various programs. We are continuously fundraising and accepting donations, with our own staff members and PTO volunteering their time and energy to help with the fundraising efforts.

You may qualify for 50 – 75% scholarships for our various programs depending on the program and how much we have available.

UPCOMING SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISERS

CRITERIA FOR FUNDING SCHOLARSHIPS:

AT AWI, We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to get to participate in our programs, regardless of race, religion, or socioeconomic status.

We are working on getting generous donations from sponsors to be able to provide these amazing opportunities.

If accepted, you will be offered a Full or Partial Scholarship for the class you wish to take.

You must meet ALL of these requirements to be considered for Scholarships

  • Household annual income must meet the INCOME CHART BELOW.
  • If you are a Homeschooler, and your charter school does not fund the class or if you are not enrolled in a public charter school.
  • ​A referral letter will be required to apply.
  • You must live in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, or the Inland Empire. If you live outside of OC, your commute will be far for most classes.
  • You must have a way to get yourself to and from the class. Art and Wilderness Institute is not responsible for transportation.

We are working on getting generous donations from sponsors to be able to provide these amazing opportunities for families that would otherwise be unable to experience our programs.

Any amount you wish to donate would be very much appreciated.

Please note we are not NON-PROFIT and your donation would not be tax-deductible. It would just help sponsor a child or adult through the program.
