Ladies Cabin Retreat

Escape to the mountains for a refreshing AWI Ladies Retreat in the cozy forest cabins of Idyllwild! Surrounded by tall pines and crisp mountain air, this retreat is designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit through nature, creativity, and community. Our days will be filled with energizing hikes along scenic trails, taking time to slow down, breathe deeply, and soak in the beauty of the forest. Between adventures, we’ll gather for inspiring art and naturalist workshops—painting, journaling, and hands-on learning that deepen our connection to the land. We will also participate in community science projects. Evenings bring laughter, heartfelt conversations, and peaceful reflection under star-filled skies. Registration includes preplanning sessions, guided activities, and lodging. Transportation and meals are not included, but meals will be planned and coordinated within the group.

Father- Daughter Channel Islands

Get ready for a Father/Daughter adventure you’ll be talking about for years! We’ll meet in Ventura, hop on a boat, and cruise across the sparkling Pacific to the wild Channel Islands. Once we land, the adventure kicks into high gear—we hike a mile inland and pitch camp together, hiking epic coastal trails, discovering tidepools bursting with starfish and crabs, and keeping an eye out for the adorable island fox. If you love the ocean, you might even get to splash your toes in and feel the sea spray on your face. Plus, enjoy fun, hands-on workshops throughout the weekend.

This isn’t just a camping trip—it’s a chance to unplug, laugh, explore, and make unforgettable father/daughter memories in one of California’s most magical places. Program cost includes pre-trip planning, guided activities, and the ferry. Food and transportation to the dock aren’t included, but we’ll help with meal planning. Fathers and daughters register separately; 3rd+ participant is 50% off.

Join us for an unforgettable AWI Family Camp in Pescadero, Northern California, where nature, creativity, and community come alive! Set near the peaceful ocean, this beautiful site offers the perfect place for families to unplug, breathe deeply, and reconnect with each other.

Throughout the weekend, families dive into hands-on adventures and creative workshops. Families will enjoy farming, woodworking and stewardship projects. We will explore coastal, steam, grassland, and forest ecology. Expect laughter, learning, and plenty of discovery along the way.

Shared meals, cozy campfires under star-filled skies, peaceful reflection time, and lively group games help build memories that last long after camp ends. Families leave refreshed, inspired, and more connected—ready to bring a renewed sense of care for the earth and each other into everyday life. Each family member must register. 3rd+ participant is 50% off. Ages 3 and under are free.
