Wildflowers- Women’s Outdoor Collective

The Wildflowers’ Club

Join us on a journey of discovery, peace, and sisterhood. The Wildflowers’ club is a space for the ladies of AWI to reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

Weekend Hikes
We offer weekly weekend ladies-only hikes rotating between the Inland Empire and Orange County areas. These outings might include moderately challenging hikes or mornings of more carefree wandering with activities such as nature journaling and poetry writing.
Meeting time is usually a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday between 6:00-7:00 am depending on where we are meeting and sunrise. We hit the trail on time and if you are late, you end up playing a nice fun game of hike and go seek…
Most hikes are about 2 hours.

Day Trips
We offer 2 annual ladies-only day trips including destinations such as Anza Borrego desert state park, Joshua Tree National Park, and Lake Arrowhead.

Camping/Backpacking
We offer 1 annual overnight trip, rotating between camping and backpacking. These weekends are full of adventure, camaraderie, games, and reflection all set in the beautiful outdoors.

Our Motto is
Explore, Connect, Create and GROW..

Who is leading the hike? Scroll down to see our current leaders.

Once you’ve hiked enough with us and feel comfortable, you can also lead hikes on trails we have already done. The best way to learn after all is to teach. The best way to find happiness is to give back.

Can kids come? No, this is for ladies only 18+. Babies/infants who cannot walk yet are welcome to come as long as you’re carrying them on the hike.

Can I bring friends with me who are not signed up? No, if your friends wish to come, they may sign up through our website and are welcome to join.
