Khulafa Al-Ard Halaqa

Halaqa is an impactful part of  preserving and spreading religious knowledge within our community.

The Khulafa Al- Ard Halaqa provides attendees the opportunity to foster personal spiritual growth, engage in discussion, and strengthen
community bonds.

What makes our Halaqa so unique?

Our Halaqa focuses on nourishing the mind, body, and soul through:

  • holding each Halaqa in nature or a natural setting, to have a deeper sense of Allah’s creation
  • providing hands-on activities that highlight the current topic of the Halaqa
  • building and creating bonds with one other by engaging in meaningful discussions and engaging activities

Explore, Connect, Create, and Grow…

The Wildflowers Club is a space for ladies of the AWI Community to reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

Hikes

  • mornings of more carefree wandering
  • nature journaling
  • poetry writing

Meeting time is usually a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday between 6:00-7:00 am (depending on where we are meeting and sunrise).
We are punctual in on our start time.  If you are late, you end up playing a nice fun game of hike and go seek…
*Most hikes are about 2 hours.

Once you’ve hiked enough with us and feel comfortable, you can also lead hikes on trails we have already done. The best way to learn after all is to teach. The best way to find happiness is to give back.

Can kids come? No, this is for ladies only 18+. Babies/infants who cannot walk yet are welcome to come as long as you’re carrying them on the hike.

Can I bring friends with me who are not signed up? No, if your friends wish to come, they may sign up through our website and are welcome to join.
