Bushcraft Weekend

The Art and Wilderness Institute will be hosting a bushcraft skills retreat this summer. This retreat will provide attendees the opportunity to learn essential outdoor skills like fire-building and plant medicine while they soak in the coastal beauty of Sage Steward Farm. Participants will enjoy daily farm-to-table meals, breathtaking hikes, access to knowledgeable mentors, and a menagerie of incredible adventures in the wilderness surrounding the farm.

Rooted in Deen: A Service Retreat for Teens

In collaboration with United for Service, an organization dedicated to youth-lead community service, the Art and Wilderness Institute is proud to facilitate wilderness-based stewardship education and programming during this impactful retreat! Sage Steward Farm is the perfect place to connect with the outdoors, and learn and practice what it means to be a steward of land and humanity.

Healing in Suhba

While participants enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Sage Steward Farm and the surrounding Pacific Coast in this community-based healing program, the Art and Wilderness Institute will be hosting outdoors-based programming for children ages 3 to 12. Through hands-on learning and meaningful engagement with the great outdoors, AWI seeks to bring as much joy, healing, and connection to the children of participants as their families will enjoy during sessions!
