INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Go through the Resources section below and acquire the Knowledge you will need for this quest. TAKE YOUR TIME TO GO THROUGH IT, REVIEW IT.. Going through all the videos and “TO-DO” List AHEAD OF TIME will make the experience richer and more fun. You don’t want to be on your phone watching videos while you are out in NATURE!

** IF you succeeded in the challenge that was posed to you in the SECRET in level 2, then and only then will LEVEL 3 Secret be revealed to you. The challenge was written in the flipbook.*****

2. Download the Quest and get going on your adventure.
Take:
– a clipboard
– a pencil or pen
– Bring a phone (for google maps, iNaturalist, and photos)
– BINOCULARS
– Water (You will need it not just for drinking)
– Snacks

3. Report back to this level to upload your photos and answers.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This is a 2 site Quest. You can either do it all in the same day or break it up between 2 days or more.

Site 1 of the quest has some uphill to it and is not stroller friendly. Not much shade up there.

Site 2 of the quest has some stroller friendly parts to it but its easier without a stroller. Lots of Shade so you can go whenever you want. Lots of poison oak at Site 2.

Total hiking mileage for both sites will equal about 3 miles
